My Journey into the GAMING Industry… Learning!! Day 48
Hi Guys
Here is the update for the last few days
I live in South Africa and there is a problem with the electricity provider (ESKOM)!!
18/10/22 — Just released the first video for the new channel.

I still have a lot to clean up on this channel but its up and running…
There is more effort than I imagined, but there is no gain without hard work.
Capturing gameplay, editing it, and publishing it before attempting to expand this new channel. It is far more difficult than I had anticipated.
Trying to learn and keep the other channel (Red Head Gaming Studios) going is an impossible feat.
As a result of this experience, I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to devote more time to the RGS gaming channel until it gains some additional popularity.
Within three months, I anticipate it to have developed enough to be self-sufficient.
I say this because, I have only posted nine videos, and they are starting to gain some traction in terms of views.
I’m writing about this experience because, in order to ensure that this channel succeeds, I’ll have to quit producing content for the main channel for a short while…
But if I have the time during this process, I’ll continue studying about game production and honing my skills.
If you are reading this for the 1st time and have no idea why I am making a gaming channel, and what it has to do with game development.
Here is the reason, my business is not growing at a great peace. One way to get more awareness for the business, is by creating a gaming channel and bring in new eyes from that niche.

18/10/22 —
I’m setting up OBS so I can record videos.
Since this is the first time utilizing obs for recording game videos, I had to watch several setup tutorial videos on YouTube.
19/10/22 — I encountered an issue with Firefox (I was using the windows store app. It still encounters problems.) Today and lost all of my open tabs, which delayed my work for the day. Because I have not been able to retrieve the tabs, I will need to install a new desktop version of it.
Anyway, I’ve already created a new YouTube channel and just finished editing two videos for it. I still need to add the videos and alter the channel’s picture and information (still need to alter the info have not done this yet.)
I encountered more issues with the new YouTube channel and was unable to submit videos longer than 15 minutes, I should have not ran into a problem like this as my account is more than a year old by now. For this reason, I had to verify my account.
It will take a day for the verification.
All video uploaded to my channel will be at the end of the article.
20/10/22 — Uploading videos to the channel…
21/10/22 — Uploading videos and setting them to public
9:40 — Just finished editing a video
I share all video uploads to various social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and a few others…
22/10/22 — Uploaded 2 videos set them to public, have uploaded another 2 but those are not set to public as of yet.

So far there are 10 videos…
