My Journey into the GAMING Industry… Learning!! Day 47
Hi Guys
Here is the update
I live in South Africa and there is a problem with the electricity provider (ESKOM)!!
During this time Eskom became a real problem
They were turning the electricity off for 8 to 10 hours a day
This contributed to a longer time to reformat the PC
So I have not been on here for over a month, and the reason behind this is that I have been getting my PC, and my office ready for both project 1 & 2…
so here is the update on my progress…
03/09/22 — Started backing up the PC which includes the Firefox browser another hard drives
To give you guys an idea of the amount of work that needed to be backed up…
Going off topic for just a bit…

What is Firefox
Firefox is a Web browser that is smaller, faster, and in some ways more secure than the Mozilla browser from which much of its code was originally derived. Firefox gives users a cleaner interface and faster download speeds.

Anyway, here is the reason I use firefox
Firefox puts privacy 1st, unlike other web browsers
Firefox is the most private first web browser
The company Mozilla use their product “firefox” to tried to keep the web open and free…
This is the real reason I choose to keep using this web browser over the others.
An open and free Internet, not just for this generation, but for the generations to follow…

Back on topic now that we all know what firefox is…
So I had over 2000 tabs open on firefox

Here is a bit more knowledge about me
I enjoy learning new things and reading extensively on a variety of subjects. As you might imagine, there are many tabs open almost constantly.
In the Future I expect to dramatically change the way I do research, as this is very time consuming for me to keep backing up. It also uses system resources from my PC…
As you might guess, I have a lot of tabs open constantly because I’m attempting to create a business, build brand awareness & so much more…while also learning how to develop games.
But even I was astonished by the amount of tabs that were open
It had taken some time to get this backed up…
04/09/22 to 10/10/22 — backing up PC
06/09/22 to 12/10/22 — Starting with project 1, cleaning up and getting the area (office) ready…
Started to move files over to a portable drive
11/09/22 — By this day I had already delete 65 gigabytes of old files
12/09/22 — While I was backing up work I was still doing some of my usual habits such as getting assets for future projects…
14/09/22 — Just finished with 1 of the Major File Backups.
16/09/22 — Firefox backups
Most of the tabs are done but, still got about 300 tabs left…
18/09/22 — Moving files to a new portable drive.
53 gigabytes of files were moved today…
20/09/22 — Starting the last 3 unity projects…
I was able to get the Hard- Pause Menu Challenge done.
Took down about 2 pages worth of notes today.
23/09/22 — Another milestone
Finished with 1 of the large files…
24/09/22 — New milestone.
Another large file..
Large file = files that hold over 100 gigabytes worth of Data and in some cases 1 terabyte…
25/09/22 — More of the same work and also the Unity project…
Took down 3 page worth of work…
26/09/22–2 new milestones were hit today, update on the project 1…
Just finished up 1 of the section of area (office) that is needed, and have set up 1 of the PCs but need to fix the ram…
The 2nd milestone.
Finished the unity challenge. Need to start with the thumbnail and need to make a video.
Wrote down a page worth of work.
Also new milestone.
Have now started to back up the unity projects…
27/09/22 — Started with project 1 trying to fix the PC but to no avail.
Also busy making the thumbnails for the 3 projects
Finished with recording 3 videos.
Now need to edit them
30/09/22 — Working on the new video, busy with editing it… spent most of the day on this…
Hit a new milestone on the YouTube channel with 8000 views so far
01/09/22 — Uploaded the new video today but have not yet made it public.
05/10/22 — Was able to get the videos uploaded and made them public today.

Now everything is done for these projects. I just need to publish them to unity and set the projects to finish on the unity site!!

06/10/22 — Hit a few milestones today.
A lot done, the 1st drive is now done, and just 3 more left.
07/10/22 to 09/10/22 — Saving work and getting things ready for reformat…
Saved over about 4 terabytes of work and deleted over 200 gigabytes of old files…
10/10/22 — Started the reformat and noticed that malicious malware was interrupting the reformat process
I had to change the settings for the reformat to completely remove the old Windows operating system and redownload from the cloud. This took about 18 hours give or take.
12/10/22 — I have now install almost all software back onto the PC but have yet to optimize windows this should take approximately A day or so..
I won't be noting this down on the next article (whenever that could be), the next article will be about the business and its progress….
Project 1
Project 1 is about making a learning centre to bring in capital for this company. I’ve been working on this for some time now, and will be ready in the coming months. For this project to work I will need to also make a curriculum…

Project 2
Project 2 is about starting a new YouTube channel about gaming. To try to drive the viewers from this gaming channel to the main YouTube channel!!!
The RedHeadGamingStudios (RGS) has not been growing as I would have hoped, and as many of you know gaming channels on YouTube do very well.
Being associated with the gaming industry, RedHeadGamingStudios (RGS) will find it simpler to gain greater awareness from a gaming channel. I’ve decided to create a gaming channel in the hopes of attracting more viewers and increasing brand recognition/awareness for the company.
This project is still in development… I will be working on this in the coming weeks and should be up and running by the end of this month.
I will be writing about this in future articles… So make sure to keep an eye out for them…

I will be moving into new offices in the coming months… More on this in future articles…
I have a lot of work to do so until most of it is done I won’t be on medium…
